Denison just doesn't get enough respect. :) All joking aside, when you think about the lake, you tend to think about one or two towns bordering the lake. Many people forget about Denison!

Lastly, let's talk about FISHING!!! Both sides of Denison Dam offer AMAZING fishing! On the lake side, the depths and rock formations offer a total growth habitat for those famous Lake Texoma Striper! Some record fish have been caught right there...and there are plenty of boat slips nearby!
On the river side, when that spillway opens, get ready to catch some big ones! The Red River swells with those spillway openings, and the fish are everywhere. When the spillway is closed and the water more calm, great bass, catfish, and crappie are to be had.
